From July 27 to 31, Robocon, the 20th China University Robot Competition, was held in Zoucheng, Shandong Province. More than 2000 people from 106 teams from 79 colleges and universities participated in the competition. The team of Zhongyuan University of Technology (ZUT) participated it in Zoucheng, being organized by Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and College of Science. Most of the participating teams come from established universities, such as Beijing University of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Northeast University and Hebei University of Engineering. After nine months of hard technical public relations, with excellent team cooperation spirit and calm attitude, the ZUT team won the third prize of the National Award.

Robocon is hosted by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. Its purpose is to "Getting the mind to boil and the wisdom to move". It plays a positive role in promoting college students to participate in scientific and technological innovation practice. At present, the competition has become one of the most challenging and influential college robot competitions in China. On July 31, such event was reported in CCTV news.
